Giant Reign E+ 3 Cobalt/Black (2025)
You'll enjoy every trail, every descent, and every climb with our Reign E+ enduro e-bike . Built like a mullet, with a 29" front wheel and a 27.5" rear wheel, it was developed in collaboration with the Giant Factory Off-Road Team riders, who test their machines in the toughest conditions in the EWS-E enduro e-bike races. The Reign E+ will give you the power to enjoy the best parts of the trail again and again!
Some technologies used:
,Maestro Repellent System
Four strategically placed pivots and two rocker arms work together to create a single virtual (floating) center of rotation of the rear end. This neutralizes the action of the rear brake and makes the system fully active and highly responsive to all types of unevenness, without unwanted sway when pedaling. The floating center increases pedaling efficiency by counteracting the pedaling forces that would otherwise create sway when pedaling (squatting) and pedal kickback when the shock is compressed (so-called pedal kickback). This eliminates energy loss during riding, allowing you to ride smoother and with much less effort.Learn more about the Maestro suspension system
SyncDrive Pro engine
Yamaha’s SyncDrive Pro motor comes in two versions. The Explore E+ Pro, Fathom E+ Pro and Stance E+ Pro e-bikes feature Yamaha’s SyncDrive Pro motor with 80Nm of torque and up to 360% support. The Trance X Advanced E+, Trance X E+ and Reign E+ models feature Yamaha’s next-generation SyncDrive Pro motor. It delivers higher torque (85Nm) and maximum support (400%) while being smaller, lighter and significantly quieter. It’s designed and tuned to work with our Maestro suspension and handle rougher terrain.More information about the SyncDrive Pro motor
EnergyPak Plus 250 additional battery
Some Giant and Liv frames are ready to install and connect a second battery, which will add an additional 250 Wh and increase your range by a decent amount of kilometers or altitude meters. The EnergyPak Plus combines all the latest battery technology with a modern design. If the main battery runs out while riding, the system automatically switches to the EnergyPak Plus battery. We offer this battery as an optional accessory.View the EnergyPak Plus 250 product.
The main advantages of an electric bike:
Powerful engine and long range
The SyncDrive Pro Yamaha motor (85 Nm, support up to 400%) is designed and tuned for riding on more difficult terrain. In addition to five modes with a set support value, there is also a fully automatic Smart Assist mode, in which the system itself evaluates the level of support the motor should provide. The integrated EnergyPak Smart battery offers a high capacity of 800 Wh, and the bike frame also allows the installation of a second battery (EnergyPak Plus - optional accessory), which adds another 250 Wh.
Convenient engine control
For greater comfort in controlling the motor, there are two control units on the bike. Right next to the handle is the discreet RideControl Ergo 3 controller, with which you can switch riding modes even when riding in difficult terrain. In addition, there is the RideControl Go controller, which is a multi-purpose button and colored LEDs directly on the frame (the diodes indicate the selected riding mode and battery status). Other useful functions, including the ability to adjust the support in individual riding modes, are offered by the Giant RideControl mobile application.
Great suspension and adjustable geometry
The ALUXX SL aluminum frame with a carbon upper swingarm offers 160 mm of travel, the front fork provides 170 mm of travel. The fully active and highly responsive Maestro rear suspension will perfectly absorb all the bumps, but at the same time will not limit you when riding uphill, when there is no unwanted sway. Thanks to the flip chip inserts in the upper swingarm, you can easily adjust the bike's geometry to best suit your riding style or the terrain you ride most often.
