Batteries are inevitably in our environment, whether you have them in an electric bike, electric scooter or mobile phone. Although they are now very reliable and durable devices, in the event of damage, malfunction or accident there may be a risk of ignition . In an electric bike, the battery is made up of dozens of cells that can be involved in a cascade of ignition. The lithium reaction then reaches very high temperatures (up to +3000°C), which can lead to the ignition of other materials if they are in the immediate vicinity or even burns to people.
