Lightweight e-bikes are a new trend in the premium e-bike segment. Manufacturers place great emphasis on maneuverability, slim design, and achieve their low weight by choosing the highest quality component materials - usually a lightweight carbon frame in combination with a compact motor and battery pack. The weight of these e-bikes often hovers around the 20 kg mark, and in the case of higher model lines, even a few kilograms below it.
