Focus on cooperation with BikePlan - electric bike insurance

Dear customers, we have recently established cooperation with the company BikePlan, which deals with insurance and its domain is the insurance of bicycles, electric bicycles, scooters and all similar vehicles, covering a wide range of activities and events. Let's now see what BikePlan insurance can do - focus on him.

First of all, let's say that insurance is only useful when something bad happens, and ideally we don't want to have it and we don't want to use it at all. But we don't live in such a world yet, and if such an event does happen, it's good to have a backdoor.

The most important question: how much does it cost?

A rough estimate is around 5% of the insured amount per year. Many parameters are included in the calculation itself, including the location of residence and the method of insurance. There are many GPS locators on the market. One of the best ones, BikeTrax , is connected directly to the engine control unit. Combined with a lock, it saves almost 900 CZK per year.

With a stinger like Sonic, I sometimes like to go on a single trail in the Rychlebské Mountains, so I'll need additional insurance for special trails:

In such a case, the insurance also covers me against damage to the bike or its parts. In fact, hitting a sharp pebble with the bottom of the engine and damaging the frame is a one-off and it's a lot of fun for around CZK 40,000.

What is included in basic insurance?

Well, actually everything. Just be careful of what is not included - especially theft from an open area if the bike is not secured in any way!

What extra do I get?

Excellent question. With the code SVETELEKTROKOL (written together without a hyphen, capital letters are not necessary), the insurance period is not the standard 12 months, but 14, so you get 2 months of insurance for free!

I think BikePlan is an interesting product and, above all, it includes everything a regular bike and e-bike user needs, even beyond their home insurance, so check it out - it can save you a lot of worries.
