Focus on 4Ever Comfort Elite Trek

Dear friends,

A new product has just arrived at our store that we almost didn't even hope to see. The original delivery plan was around September 2022, then towards the end of October, then we didn't even ask...
It is difficult to recognize all the nooks and crannies, advantages, simple elegance and some novel solutions from the description of the technical specifications and one photo, so I consider it appropriate to describe them in more detail - to focus on them.

We are already used to the fact that 4Ever is able to assemble its models into a compact unit with elegant, well-chosen components with an emphasis on quality in important places, thought out down to the last detail, to the point where I sometimes wonder why the hell others don't do it like this? It's brilliant!
You know very well what I'm talking about if you've ever considered equipping your bike or e-bike with fenders, a rack, lights, or adjusting the cockpit and handlebar position. It can be quite a challenge to combine all of this so that the result still makes sense in terms of both function and design - so that something doesn't get in the way, doesn't knock, is just too short or long, too right or not enough red.

First of all, the fenders - a component that you only think of when they are not there and there are hundreds of ways to choose and install fenders incorrectly. 4Ever chose none of them and instead installed luxuriously solid metal fenders with struts. The rear fender even has a reinforcement and is a support strut for the rack with a flap and has a channel underneath for the cable to power the rear light. Everything is clean, nothing sticks out anywhere, we don't need the front legs of the rack - beauty.
Another thing we never expected to see in a normal e-bike - the specification table doesn't mention the headset and stem at all, which is a big shame. The Speedlifter® allows you to lift the entire seatpost and stem, similar to folding bikes, to allow for an excessively upright sitting position.
The Deore M5100 cassette with a range of 11-50 for 11 speeds is perhaps unnecessarily large, unless you live in Vimperk and ride Steinbrenerová Street with a 27% gradient every day (allegedly... I can't confirm).
I would change the grips on the bike right away - they are elegant and nicely complement the whole bike, but they are soft and the palm rest is sagging. You can take advantage of the long-term promotion for bike accessories worth 3,000 CZK for free and take the opportunity to think about changing the saddle, the one chosen here is perhaps unnecessarily sporty and the bike would deserve a wider and softer one. I am running out of words of praise for the rest of the description, so I recommend seeing it for yourself. We now have sizes S (16") and L (18") in the store for anyone between 155 and 180 cm. For those of you who are taller, there is also an XL (20") size available to order
