Our RideControl controls, conveniently located on the handlebars so you can always have them at hand, are primarily for easy mode switching, but they can do much more. Since model year 2021, we've made further improvements, such as internal cable routing on the handlebars, and we've also created a completely new control unit with a small, easy-to-read display. In the following overview, we'll introduce you to the individual controls in a little more detail.

RideControl Ergo
The RideControl Ergo control unit allows you to comfortably control your e-bike, and if you do not necessarily need a display on your bike, the RideControl Ergo can replace it. Two dominant and ergonomically shaped buttons are used for easy switching of riding modes, the control is completely problem-free even when riding in more demanding terrain. The currently selected riding mode and the battery status are indicated by very visible LEDs. The motor assistance function for guiding the bike while walking (so-called walk assist) has its own separate button. This control unit is intended exclusively for bikes equipped with Smart Gateway (SG) technology - these are certain models from model year 2021. RideControl Ergo is compatible with RideDash EVO displays (color display, advanced features) and RideDash ANT+ (LCD display, basic features). For bikes without Smart Gateway technology, there is a RideControl One (ANT+) control unit with the same design. The RideControl One is only compatible with the RideDash ANT+ display.
RideControl Ergo 2
This new control unit is designed specifically for city and trekking bikes that do not have a derailleur lever or dropper post on the handlebars, and there is also a variant for curved road or gravel bike handlebars. The RideControl Ergo 2 features distinctive and ergonomically shaped buttons for easy switching between riding modes, a separate button for the Smart Assist function, which is a fully automatic riding mode, and a button for motor assistance when walking (so-called walk assist). Very visible LEDs indicate the selected riding mode as well as the battery status. A smaller 6mm connector allows for internal cable routing on the handlebars. If you would like to complement this unit with a display, you can choose the RideDash EVO (color display and advanced functions) or the RideDash ANT+ (LCD display and basic functions). This control unit is intended exclusively for bikes equipped with Smart Gateway (SG) technology - these are certain models from model year 2021.
RideControl Ergo 3
RideControl Ergo 3 The three-button RideControl Ergo 3 control unit is located right next to the handlebar, making it very easy to use even on rough terrain. It allows you to control the level of motor support (i.e. switch riding modes) and also activate the Walk Assist function (motor assistance when steering the bike while walking).

RideControl Dash
If you need a display on your e-bike but don't want to have two devices on your handlebars, this "two-in-one" unit is the solution. In addition to buttons for conveniently switching between riding modes, it also includes a smaller color display. It displays the most important data, such as the current range, battery charge level and selected assistance mode, as well as common cycling computer functions (speed, distance traveled). The motor assistance function for walking (walk assist) has its own button. Thanks to ANT+ connectivity, you can connect a heart rate monitor or other fitness equipment and see the values on the display. This control unit is intended exclusively for bikes equipped with Smart Gateway (SG) technology - these are certain models from model year 2021.
