CANNONDALE – an American icon of innovation

A technological advantage that you can feel every kilometer.

About Cannondale

Cannondale was founded in 1971 in Connecticut, USA, as an industrial technology company. Its first success in cycling came with the Bugger trailer and lightweight panniers, which literally took the American market by storm.

In 1983, Cannondale introduced its first aluminum-framed bike, the ST-500 , and revolutionized bicycle design. This was followed by a series of innovations, such as the legendary CAAD (Cannondale Advanced Aluminum Design) frames, the carbon-aluminum hybrid Six13 , and the full-suspension Super V and Jekyll models.

The brand is also known for its unique suspension – from the HeadShok to the iconic Lefty single-leg fork, which remains one of Cannondale's most distinctive hallmarks to this day.
