Leader Fox Altar 27.5 " model 2023
New for the 2023 season. ALTAR 27.5" 2023 electric mountain bike with an aluminum frame, sporty design, suspension front fork, disc brakes and 27.5" wheel size.
The new feature is an integrated frame battery with powerful LG cells with a capacity of 20Ah (720Wh) . Another plus is the new fast charger with a charging current of 3A (previously 1.8A). Thanks to which the battery charging time is significantly reduced. The electric bike is equipped with a Bafang M510 mid-motor with a nominal power of 250W and a max. power of 550W. This motor, among other things, boasts high torque, which can reach up to 95 Nm and is equipped with a torsional pedaling force sensor. This means that the more force the cyclist pedals, the more force the motor helps. The motor stands out for its very smooth operation, above-average climbing performance and quiet operation. The system is controlled using a color LCD display and a button controller located on the handlebars.
Range on a fully charged battery:
- average 120 km
- maximum up to 150 km
- depends on the nature of the ride
The clear color LCD display shows the functions:
- choice of 5 assistance modes
- WALK function (walking speed – used e.g. when guiding a bike up a steep hill)
- display of current, maximum and average speed
- kilometers traveled: individual trip/total distance traveled
- day and night mode (display backlight)
- battery charge status indicator
- USB port for charging your phone

The range of an electric bike depends on various factors: the weight of the rider and load, the physical condition of the rider, the style and nature of the ride, the technical condition of the bike, the temperature, direction and strength of the wind, the elevation profile of the route and the nature of the terrain (rough surfaces, hilly terrain, frequent starting, etc. reduce the range).
Notice:
Incorrect shifting (using "heavy" gears when going uphill) can cause the control unit to overheat in extreme conditions.
