Crussis Cobra 4.2 is the lightest scooter with a 26"/20" wheel ratio that you can find on the market! Its low weight is mainly due to the strong aluminum frame with a special construction. Special because the rear fork with the footrest forms one unit, thus preventing fatigue fractures in places where the fork is usually welded. The frame is also rigid, ensuring optimal energy transfer in the straight direction of travel.

Another interesting feature is the ability to clamp the rear wheel in 2 different positions and thus regulate the ground clearance of the scooter. When riding on a flat surface, you can better use the lower ground clearance of 45 mm , while for off-road it is better to adjust it to 65 mm . The wheels with diameters of 26" and 20" are equipped with fast Schwalbe Marathon Racer tires with extra low rolling resistance.

Revolutionary aluminum frame

The unique aluminum frame of the Crussis Cobra scooters was developed so that the rear fork forms a single unit. However, this is not a design feature, but a structural solution that eliminates fatigue fractures in places where the fork is usually welded to the footrest. The conical shape of the head tube together with the triangular neck profile increases the strength of the frame.

The raised tip of the footrest ensures trouble-free passage through terrain and prevents the footrest from "sticking" into an obstacle and subsequent fall.

Adjusting the step clearance

By using two feet on the rear fork, you can choose between a higher and lower footrest position and thus set the optimal clearance of the scooter according to the terrain you are going to ride. For riding on a smooth surface, it is ideal to choose a lower footrest clearance (45 mm) , for riding off-road, a higher footrest (65 mm) . By reducing the clearance, riding the scooter is physically less demanding, because the standing leg is less bent during the kickback and you therefore "squat" less while riding.
