Focused on some newly stocked pearls

In addition to the pleasant weather, you may also be convinced to visit our store in recent days by the constantly expanding range of e-bikes from premium manufacturers, including several recently introduced new products in our range. In the last few weeks, I can say without exaggeration that one bike is coming out better than the other. So let's focus on some of the best ones - focus on them.

1. Giant Trance X Advanced E+ 2

Let's start with the basics and take a look at probably the best e-bike we've had in the store in the last few years. Trail / all-mountain machine from Giant with a carbon frame, the latest generation SyncDrive Pro drivetrain with an 800 Wh battery. Mullet design, patented Advanced composite frame material from their own carbon processing factory, sophisticated Maestro suspension system, Fox damping, SLX - riding like a cloud with a total weight of 24.74 kg in size L with pedals. It has no competition. Matte black transitions into glossy black with a noticeable raw texture of the lower carbon layer, creating the impression of an e-bike from afar that you can be proud of.

We quietly announced the expansion of the range to include the Austrian super brand a few weeks ago, but the bigger reveal will come now as the first models gradually arrive. We have focused most of our KTM range on the limited Austrian edition series, the Austrian edition typical of its black and red design. These e-bikes are always based on one of the manufacturer's production models, have the same frame and electronics, but are endowed with a different design and sometimes slightly different equipment. This Macina Chacana PRO 750 is based on the Macina Chacana 792 for 2022, which makes it an exceptionally playful and agile trail XC machine with 130 / 125 mm of travel.
A very nice feature of the Austrian edition is the favorable price compared to their base models. This Chacana starts at 125,000 and that's with the Bosch Performance Smart System and a 750 Wh battery!

It's May 2023 and Haibike is slowly starting to stock its 2022 full-suspension models. It would be premature to call it a runaway train, but it's hard to find positives compared to the aforementioned KTM Macina. The non-smart Bosch Performance, PowerTube 625 are still the best you can get.
The ride is luxurious, we've known that about the Haibike for a long time - the bike tracks beautifully, the progressive rear end is precise and mechanically the bike has huge potential, plus it has an extremely cool color design (look at the photo of the derailleur in the product - the transition looks great in the light)

We'll stay with full-suspension e-bikes for a moment and focus on this part. We've seen many e-bikes where the integration of the battery into the down tube is completely unsuccessful, unnecessarily large, square or completely out of context with the other frame tubes. From the side view, the integration looks luxurious, as if it weren't an extra high-capacity 900 Wh battery at all. From the top view, the integration is wider, but elegantly hidden in the line of the wide top frame tube. So from the rider's point of view, you won't really know if you're riding an e-bike with a huge battery or a massively built enduro bike without a motor, which we really like. But you can't hide the high weight with elegance, and that's the biggest shortcoming of this machine.

In the flood of offers for quality XC mountain bikes with their versatility, it is extremely difficult for manufacturers to keep up with a quality trekking and touring model, where the quality of the components would not be second-rate and overall it would make sense to have a kind of aesthetic experience just from observing the e-bike. All the more, it is necessary to appreciate the work of 4Ever designers, who year after year manage to surprise and create a light, maneuverable, fully equipped touring e-bike, always at least one step ahead of their competition. The integrated carrier bracket in the wide metal fender with cable routing for the rear light powered by the battery simply makes sense and illustrates perfection. Traditionally, I say that the Bafang M400 motor is a kind of price compromise in terms of riding characteristics when riding "for its own sake", but I have to reevaluate my statement and always put it in context with the other mechanical equipment of the e-bike.
